Bassano conducts Salonen première
Peter Bassano conducted the UK première of Esa-Pekka Salonen's Stockholm Diary for Strings with the Oxford University Sinfonietta at the Jacqueline du Pré Music Building, Oxford on Wednesday 13th June at 7:30pm. Salonen became Patron of the Sinfonietta earlier this year. The rest of the programme was:

- John McCabe: Piano Concerto No. 2, Sinfonia Concertante (1970), performed by the composer
